‘HIS TEMPLE’ : COSTUME (2023)
DESCRIPTION:
SHEK LEUNG is proud to announce the dearest collaboration project titled ‘HIS TEMPLE’ with musician Olivier Cong. Inspired by Guy de Maupassant’s short story Clair de Lune, musician Olivier Cong collaborates with dance artists Ong Yong Lock and Zelia Tan to create a dialogue of contemporary music and dance. The show also features voice acting by the ambassador of French May Arts Festival, Karena Lam, based on the script written by her and Olivier. A conversational piece that attempts to understand what beauty is, through devoted and obsessive lenses, to find the truth of pure love in relationships to craft.

COSTUME DESIGN FOR ‘HIS TEMPLE’
FABRIX: NFT (2022 - 2023)
DESCRIPTION:
In the fall of 2022, SHEK LEUNG launched the first digital capsule collection in Hong Kong with the support of FABRIX HK and PMQ DESIGN. Working with Eddy Wong and his team from ICE Production that specialise on CGI and Visual Effects in the film industry, Eddy has previously has worked on some of my renown films such as Initial D (2005) and Wait ’Til You’re Older (2005).
After the initial successful launch, FABRIX is taking our SHEK LEUNG NFT collection abroad in fall 2023. The NFT capsule, titled ‘A BREATH OF FRESH NOISE,’ explores the delicate balance between power and fragility that men embody when in serenity. We attempt to instil softness and vulnerability in menswear, bringing a touch of sensuality to the traditionally masculine-dominant world. The designs carry our cinematic aesthetic, capturing the essence of film noises and textures into the NFT.
The NFT capsule was showcased at London Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week with the support of British Fashion Council(UK) and the Fédération De la Haute Couture Et De la Mode (FR).
